The programme will use blended learning techniques: In order to implement the international dimension of the programme, contact teaching will be complemented by web-based distance-learning methods, video-conferences, etc.
Description
The EUMASLI programme in conceived of as an opportunity for theoretically-informed reflection upon professional and performance aspects of sign language interpreting and translation.
We expect graduates from the programme to add new insights to the expanding body of learning and research and to be able to contribute significantly to the growth of sign language interpreting as a coherent self-organized professional field providing quality services to Deaf and hearing citizens.

Admission criteria and application procedure
The next application period to the Degree Programme in Sign Language Interpreting (EUMASLI) will be announced later.
Eligibility for the programme is given by:
- a first university degree
- at least three years of professional experience as a sign language interpreter
- English competence (=main language of instruction)
