Study Opportunities for Students Coming from Ukraine

Yksitoista iloista piirrettyä hahmoa on sulloutunut sateelta suojaan saman sateenvarjon alle.

In response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, Humak offers Ukrainian refugees the opportunity to study at Humak Open University of Applied Sciences (Open UAS) for free. Ukrainian degree students who have arrived in Finland are also given the opportunity to apply for admission to Humak’s bachelor’s degree programme in adventure and outdoor education, with a separate right to study without tuition fees.

The first courses available are the self-paced online courses offered at the Open UAS during the summer semester, starting 1st of June 2022. For the autumn semester, separate study-right may be admitted to a selection of courses from the curriculum of the bachelor programme in adventure and outdoor education. See the more detailed description below. Decision of the separate right to study will be made on the basis of the applications.

Registration for summer courses is open 7.4.2022-22.5.2022.

While the separate study right entitles students to complete individual study units, students may later apply for degree studies at Humak.
