In our Jyväskylä regional unit about 60 to 70 students start their studies every year. Our degree programmes are Civic Activities and Youth Work and Cultural Management. The first half of the studies take place in Korpilahti Campus by the lake Päijänne about half an hour by bus from the centre of Jyväskylä. At the Campus you can also meet students doing their open university studies at Alkio opisto. Daily their are about 300 students of Alkio and Humak at the campus.

Jyväskylä RDI-centre (Akseli)

The pedagogy of Humak is based on the combination of basic studies at the campus that  build professionality and the growing connection with work-life during the whole of study time.

In the middle of the studies a more intensive period of working-life-connections  with trainings, projects and research and thesis studies takes place at RDI-centre Akseli on Kympinkatu in the Kangas area,  near to the centre of Jyväskylä. There Akseli is situated in the middle of working-life-connected creative organisation and different schools.
