Strategic Partnerships and Networks

Education Partnerships

  • We develop humanistic education, internationalization and RDI activities together with Yrkeshögskolan Novia
  • A sign language master’s degree has been implemented in Finland with Diakonia University of Applied Sciences and an international EUMASLI joint degree with Magdeburg-Stendahl University in Germany and Heriot Watt University in Scotland.

International Partnership Networks

Examples of Humak’s international partnership networks:

University Cooperation

Humak has a cooperation agreement with 35 European universities. Exchange studies are also possible in the United States or Canada. Our international projects include Nepal and Tanzania.

Students have many ways to internationalize, such as:

  • international exchange
  • work-based learning in jobs abroad
  • study trips abroad
  • organizing various events with foreign partners
  • participation in international research and development projects.

Utilization of international learning environments is also possible in Finland. Students can:

  • work with exchange students
  • participate in teaching by foreign visitors
  • act as facilitators for multicultural groups
  • choose international studies
  • participate in foreign language teaching provided by different campuses or other universities of applied sciences
