What can you study?
Open UAS studies can include:
- Individual course units – quick and flexible competence development
- Competence modules (30–60 ECTS) – in-depth professional development
- Introductory courses – get to know our degree programmes and higher education studies for free
- Path studies – consist of first-year studies from degree programmes. After completing these, you can apply to us through a separate application
- “Väylä” studies for upper secondary level – for high school and vocational students
How do you study?
Open UAS studies can be:
- Online courses at your own pace
- In groups with degree students
- Flexibly through evening and blended studies

Is your goal to become a degree student at Humak?
Studies completed through Open UAS can be accredited towards your degree if you later apply to become a degree student at Humak. Pathway studies are the most recommended route to becoming a degree student through the open pathway. We guarantee a study place at Humak for everyone who successfully completes our pathway studies!
