What is the Humak Experience Pool?
The Humak Experience Pool is Humak’s model for continuity. It brings together our retired experts, those who have transitioned into entrepreneurship, or those who have moved on to other roles but wish to continue working on a project basis and on their own terms.
The organization can maintain connections with its experts even as their careers evolve – expertise can continue to thrive in new roles and collaboration can continue through a partnership model.

Humak Experience Pool
Humak Experience Pool members are flexibly available for Humak’s expert services.
They can work as project-based experts, trainers, supervisors, mentors, or development partners – on a part-time or fixed-term basis, or as entrepreneurial partners.
Matti Pesola
Strengthening financial understanding in associations and boards.
I help associations understand the bigger picture of financial management: planning, accounting practices and the significance of financial statements.
I train and coach boards and administrative staff in financial governance as well as in developing advocacy and impact activities.
Hanna Elomaa-Kiuru
Expertise in social work and crisis intervention.
Doctor of Social Sciences and licensed social worker. I provide expert services in social work, child advocacy and individual and group supervision in sensitive and demanding situations.
My areas of special expertise include psychosocial social work, crisis intervention and qualitative research.
Päivi Rainò
Expert in research, accessibility, and sign language
Doctor of Philosophy and Adjunct Professor of Finnish Sign Language. I offer expert services in research, linguistic accessibility and the development of the sign language field.
Extensive experience in projects, education and international collaboration.
Henna-Riikka Markkio
Leadership for change and standstill situations
I coach executive teams and boards in strategic and operational matters. I help organizations move forward when growth slows down or when change requires clearer direction.

Kai Lehtonen
Safety and leadership in demanding environments
I train organizations to anticipate risks, strengthen safety culture and operate clearly even in uncertain situations. I integrate expertise in adventure education, outdoor activities and safety management into leadership and team development.
