Grow Internationally.
From Creative Content to International IP Success Stories
Finland is home to a wealth of promising works, characters, stories, concepts, brands and innovations with the potential to become international IP success stories. Yet their value and global potential often remain untapped. Realising this potential requires not only creativity, but also export expertise, the right partners and the ability to turn intellectual property into business opportunities.
IP Hotspot project responds to this need by bringing together export professionals and creators of the most promising content. The project will pilot a new IP Export Agent Training Programme, combining expertise in business, technology and the creative industries. In addition, it will deliver training programmes for creators in the arts, culture and creative sectors who own intellectual property.
The project connetcs creative content, business expertise and international networks. To achieve this, it will organise networking and matchmaking events and establish an international IP Export Forum, bringing together creators, agents, managers, investors and other enablers of international growth.
The project strengthens international business and exports based on intellectual property and other intangible assets. It creates the conditions for new IP success stories to emerge.
The project is implemented in close cooperation with higher education institutions, industry associations, business and export organisations, as well as other experts in intellectual property and internationalisation.
