Humak library has both print and electronic collections. Use Humak Finna to search across all of the library’s collections.
The Library of Finnish Association of the Deaf provides library services in Helsinki campus. Humak also cooperates with Youth Reseach Library that has its own database.
Humak libraries are open for everyone. After having registered as a library user you can borrow books and other material.
Humak library also has an interlibrary loan service to Humak staff and students if the material needed is not held by the library or neighbouring libraries. Humak staff and students may also borrow material from other campus libraries. Humak loans from other campuses and loans from other UAS libraries and the National Repository Library of Finland are free of charge, but the library may charge a fee from other interlibrary loans.
Humak library also offers interlibrary loan services to other libraries. Please send the loan request directly to the e-mail address of the library in case.
Electronic resources can be accessed at the Humak campuses. Students and staff can also remote use electronic resources by logging in with Humak user id.
E-books can be searched in the library database. User identification in different e-book services varies:
- Ellibs: library card barcode number and PIN-code
- Other e-book services: Humak user name and password
