Volume! – Empowering Solo Entrepreneurs through Global Readiness

Volume! – Empowering Solo Entrepreneurs through Global Readiness -project provides with a educational program for solo entrepreneurs in the textile, clothing, fashion, artisanal, and graphic industries to enhance their international readiness.

The Volume -online program is offered in both Finnish and English from 2023 to 2024.

The aim is to enhance solo entrepreneurs’ abilities in anticipating changes and implementing sustainable entrepreneurship in an increasingly international operating environment.

In Finland, entrepreneurship education is mainly available in Finnish. English-language offerings primarily focus on startup activities, which do not meet the needs of solo entrepreneurs. There is currently no Finnish- and English-language entrepreneurship path specifically designed for solo entrepreneurs.

There is a shortage of education and expertise in various sectors, such as opportunities for artisan entrepreneurs in content licensing business models in the international market, suitable financing instruments for solo entrepreneurs, branding, and value-based pricing. These aspects, along with business skills, collaboration, and language proficiency, are strengthened within Volume.

Volume’s training offerings are based on the modules of Humak UAS’s Cultural Management (BA) degree program, with international expertise as a cross-cutting theme. In addition, participants receive guidance, group coaching, and support for developing their expertise needs, constructing and implementing their own expertise path. Volume’s program is implemented in both Finnish and English.

The project implementation period is from January 1, 2023, to February 28, 2025.
