What are Path Studies?

Path Studies are your alternative route to higher education studies at Humak UAS without the need to pass entrance exams or to acquire a study place through the joint application.

In Path Studies, you complete the first year of the degree together in the same class with degree students. After this, you can apply via the separate application and continue to your second year as a degree student.

The study right period — the time allowed to complete the Path Studies — is three semesters (1.5 years). Depending on the degree, the studies are offered entirely online, as on-campus daytime studies, or as a blended format combining both. The study method for our Bachelor level Path Studies offered in English is daytime studies in Helsinki.

At Humak, all applicants who have successfully completed their Path Studies are selected as degree students in the separate admission through the separate application based on Open UAS studies.

1. Register

Registration for Path Studies is open between May and August on Humak’s online store: kauppa.humak.fi.

2. Study

Complete the required courses in the same group with the first-year degree students.

3. Apply

Apply for the degree that corresponds to your Path Studies in the separate application either 1–15 May or 1–15 November.
