Information on degree programmes

You can order printed Applicant’s Guides (in Finnish) for your institution through the Subjectaid service throughout the year. You can also request an institutional presentation, either live or online.
Joint Application for Finnish-taught degree programmes
From 10.3.2026 at 8:00 to 24.3.2026 at 15.00
Please note that admission to these programmes requires B1 level Finnish proficiency.
The next application round for English-taught degrees is in January 2027.

Educational institution visits
At Humak, institution visits can be arranged both in person and online. We are also happy to participate in institutions’ own further education events.
- Our student ambassadors or Humak students share their experiences of studying at Humak either virtually or by visiting your school’s application events or classes, subject to scheduling.
- The presentations are free of charge.
- You can request a virtual or in-person visit by sending an email to viestinta@humak.fi.
Introductory courses for upper secondary students
Introductory courses are designed as introductory studies to Humak’s degree programmes. The courses are particularly suitable for upper secondary students, but are also open to others interested in studying at Humak. The scope of the studies is 1–2 ECTS credits.
Register by 24 May 2026 for the 2025–2026 academic year introductory courses. Registration for courses in the 2026–2027 academic year opens on 1 August 2026.

Application periods
- You can apply to Humak through the joint application during the national higher education application periods.
- Supplementary application for vacant study places:
- In the supplementary application, it is possible to apply to degree programmes that were included in the joint application and still have vacant study places available. We will inform you separately about possible supplementary application rounds on our website and on Studyinfo.
- Separate applications via the Open UAS Path studies or Väylä studies are held from 1–15 May and from 1–15 November.
