Humak Outdoor and Adventure Academy
Humak Outdoor and Adventure Academy combines pedagogical excellence with leadership expertise through outdoor learning and adventure. At its core are the Finnish connection to nature, experiential pedagogy, diversity and international networks.
We offer both degree programs and continuing education services under a single umbrella. Some of these services are delivered directly by us, while others are developed in collaboration with our partner network.
We provide education on an international scale: our experts travel worldwide, and participants can join us on campus. Through our networks, we ensure flexible delivery across different countries and tailored to various needs.

Teacher Training Programmes
We offer tailored training programs for teachers and pedagogical programmes for international groups. The training introduces participants to Finnish learning models, student-centred approaches, collaborative learning and pedagogical leadership.
The programmes can be delivered as short intensive courses or as more comprehensive modules, depending on the client’s needs.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Education Management
The Diploma Programme is designed for teaching and administrative staff who wish to deepen their expertise in pedagogy, leadership and the development of educational organisations.
The modular programme (30–60 ECTS credits) can be tailored to align with the organisation’s strategic goals. Key themes include the development of learning environments, pedagogical leadership, guidance and counselling and quality assurance.
Happiness and Wellbeing
A five-day programme exploring the foundations of Finnish wellbeing and learning.
In this summer or winter school, participants discover the key elements behind Finnish happiness. The programme combines pedagogy, connection to nature, creativity and the development of workplace wellbeing.
Over the course of five days, themes include creating a safe operating environment, strengthening the human–nature relationship, applying creative methods and fostering happiness in working life.
Finnish Pedagogical Approaches
Finnish Learning Models in Practice.
This five-day program introduces the core principles of Finnish education: student-centered learning, experiential methods, collaborative learning and outdoor pedagogy.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore these approaches in practice and design teaching modules tailored to their own educational environments.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Event Management
International Diploma in Event Production.
This 60 ECTS international diploma program provides the skills and competencies needed to plan, produce, and manage a wide range of events — from cultural productions to corporate events. The program combines hands-on projects, professional networks and expert-led instruction from the field.
The diploma serves as a pathway to an international career in the event industry or to further academic studies.
Kasvupaja workshop for International Markets (in Finnish)
Our students and experts can support the development of your international operations, for example through projects related to experiential tourism, adventure education, or event production.
