Change negotiations concluded

The change negotiations of Humak University of Applied Sciences have come to a conclusion. Negotiations in accordance with Chapter 7, Section 3 of the Employment Contracts Act (työsopimuslaki) were launched at the beginning of September 2024 and held on economic and production grounds, as well as reasons to do with operational restructuring.

The aim of the change negotiations is to achieve a reduction in expenditure of around 1,2 million euros, mainly by reducing premises and services costs, reviewing other expenditure structures and adjusting staff costs by a maximum of around 400,000 euros. After negotiations, a solution was found that does not require redundancies, but that the adjustment of staff costs can be achieved by other means.

The change negotiations are part of an entity aimed at strengthening the future performance of Humak.
