Studying by the sea
In Turku, you can study to become a community educator or a cultural manager.
Our current campus is located in Harjattula, by the sea on the island of Kakskerta, in the same facilities as Paasikivi-Opisto. Turku students will move to the Turku city centre area in autumn 2026. The exact location of the campus will be announced during spring 2026.
Our Harjattula campus offers students diverse outdoor recreation opportunities as well as teaching, dining, and accommodation services. You can enjoy breakfast or a student-priced lunch at our campus restaurant (Wanha Talli).
Arrival
Our Harjattula campus is located 23 kilometres from the centre of Turku. The journey takes approximately 30–45 minutes one way by car or public transport. The reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but the doors open already at 8:00 a.m.

Bussit kulkevat noin kerran tunnissa, ja matkan kesto on noin 35 minuuttia. Bussilinjat 25 ja 25a lähtevät puutorilta, mutta pysähtyvät myös kauppatorilla. Päätepysäkki on Kakskerta.
Accessibility
Humak’s teaching is mainly arranged in the Harjattula stable building, which has two floors. The first floor has an accessible toilet, and it is barrier-free to enter. The second floor can be accessed by wheelchair or other mobility aid via an external entrance. It is possible to drive close to the entrances of both the first and second floors.
