In Jyväskylä, we are located in Korpilahti, approximately 30 kilometres from the city centre of Jyväskylä.

Our current campus is located in Korpilahti, approximately 30 kilometres from the centre of Jyväskylä and about 120 kilometres from Tampere. Jyväskylä students will move to the city centre area in autumn 2026. The exact location of the campus will be announced during spring 2026.
The campus has new teaching facilities in the Helmi building, a cafeteria, student housing, and nature-friendly surroundings for free-time activities.
Arrival
Our Korpilahti campus is located approximately 30 kilometers from the centre of Jyväskylä and about 1.5 kilometers from the centre of Korpilahti.
By car
There is plenty of free parking in the area. A small fee is charged for the use of heated parking posts, which are managed by Alkio College. An accessible parking space is available, and the path from the parking area to the Helmi building entrance ramp (approximately 100 meters) is paved and level.
By public transport
The Jyväskylä campus is located about 1.5 km from the centre of Korpilahti. By train, you can travel to Jämsä or the centre of Jyväskylä, from where it is approximately 30 km to Korpilahti. From different parts of Finland, buses go to Korpilahti centre, from where it is about a 10-minute walk to the campus. The walking route crosses the bay of Päijänne via a pedestrian bridge. Some buses coming from the Jyväskylä direction go directly to the campus and return in the afternoon. Check bus and train schedules on Matkahuolto, Onnibus, or VR.
Accessibility
Humak’s teaching facilities in the Helmi building are on a single floor with no level differences inside. There is a ramp at the exterior door. The exterior door opens automatically and also has an activation button. An accessible toilet is located near the exterior door.
Near the Helmi building, there is a designated accessible parking space. The path from the parking area to the entrance ramp (approximately 100 metres) is paved and level. The exterior door opens automatically and also has an activation button. An accessible toilet is available near the exterior door.
The teaching spaces have adjustable lighting.
The route from the Helmi building to the main building of Alkio College is not accessible. The route includes an uphill section with stairs or, via an alternative path, a steep uphill slope.
