Vevent to Launch a Free Course (5 ECTS) on the Production of Virtual Events for Cultural Actors in the Autumn
In the autumn of 2022, the Vevent project will launch a continuing education course open to cultural actors. The course is intended for those who feel they need more skills in organizing virtual events. The course is held in English and is free of charge for participants.
The contents of the course have been produced in collaboration with all the actors involved in the Vevent project (Arcada, Humak, Metropolia and SeAMK). However, each university of applied sciences offers its own version of the course, the implementation and scheduling of which differ somewhat.
Course
The first course implementations will be held in the fall of 2022, and the course will be available for two years. It is in English and has a scope of 5 ECTS. Completion of the course is free for the participants.
The aim of the course is to provide a practical overview of the things to consider when organizing a virtual event. Also a broader view of the future possibilities of virtual events will be offered.
The course provides its participants with an up-to-date overview of the topic. It is based on the results of the research and experiments carried out during the project in 2021-2022, as well as on the speeches of professionals in the field.
