Quality in everyday life
Students
Students play a key role in our quality work. Student feedback is collected regularly throughout their studies, and we use it to continuously develop our education and services. Students can participate in development through the HUMAKO student union – students are involved in decision-making and development groups.
Staff
For staff, quality is part of their daily work. Everyone is responsible for the quality of their own work and continuously develops their skills. Our participatory development culture encourages us to try out new solutions together with students and partners. Decision-making is based on systematically collected feedback and performance data.
Partners
For our partners, quality is reflected in reliable partnerships and opportunities to participate in the development of our activities. An experimental and creative operating culture enables innovative forms of cooperation in education, research and development, and continuous learning. Together, we create new expertise and social impact.
Student, help us improve our practices.
Principles of quality work
Our quality work is based on continuous development: we plan, implement, evaluate, and develop our activities systematically.
Our activities are based on Humak’s strategy and an agreement made with the Ministry of Education and Culture. The objectives are derived from the strategy and specified annually in the financial and operational plan. An open and participatory development culture encourages experimentation and innovation with partners. Quality management is part of the everyday work of every Humak employee.
Humak’s quality management principles and procedures, along with responsibilities, are described in the quality and operations management manual.
