Creatives in Web3 Age
Renewing earning models and audience relationships in the creative industries by utilizing blockchain technologies.
The New Internet
Web3 technologies open up new possibilities for publishing, sharing, owning, and earning in the digital world. NFT art, virtual events, community-driven platforms, and direct connections with audiences make visible what previously remained in the background.
The project’s target groups include artists, producers, teachers, and other creative professionals. The project offers opportunities to learn about, discuss, and experiment with blockchain-based services.
Creative Fields in the Web3 Era brings blockchain technologies into use within the creative industries through training, publications, and experiments. The project is carried out by Arcada, Metropolia, SeAMK, Humak, HAMK, and Helsinki XR Center.
Humak produces webinars addressing Web3 phenomena for creative professionals, as well as longer-term innovation projects for early-career cultural managers. In the project, Humak also acts as a communication expert. Reaching creative industry practitioners is Humak’s particular area of expertise.
So far, the project’s webinars have covered topics such as managing music copyrights, music publishing, NFT art platforms and the art market, and publishing films on blockchain-based services.
