We promote equality and non-discrimination in all youth work
The youth work centers of expertise form a network that supports the implementation of the objectives set out in the National Youth Work and Youth Policy Program. The centers of expertise develop and promote competence, expertise, and communications in the youth sector in accordance with the Youth Act.
The Center of Expertise for Equality in Youth Work focuses on non-discrimination, promoting equality in all youth work. The Center offers expertise and develops the skills of youth work professionals and volunteers in the fields of equality, non-discrimination, and anti-racism. We provide information and practical tools that help build safer and more equal environments for all. Together, we can ensure that every young person feels like they belong.
The goal of the Center of Expertise for Equality in Youth Work is to improve equality in the youth sector. The Center investigates and monitors the status of systematic equality work and identifies the information and skills needs of those working in the field. Equality and accessibility, expertise, and methods for addressing discrimination and racism are increased so that every young person has equal opportunities to participate in youth activities.
