Digital Youth Work with Isolated and Marginalised Young People – Practice Exchange and Development

Our project aims to build the capacity of both Foróige and HUMAK University in Digital Youth Work (DYW) for young people who are isolated, marginalised, or vulnerable, through practice exchanges and cooperative activities both digitally and in person. These exchanges will be informed by the work of HUMAK University’s existing project on DYW in hospitals, as well as Foróige’s Go DYW programmes, practice and expertise, particularly focused on virtual reality (VR) and the inclusion of marginalised and isolated young people. We will host 2 in-person practice exchanges, as well as 4 additional online workshops.

Foróige and HUMAK will expand our DYW capacity by learning from each other’s existing programmes and initiatives. We will also build towards a future large-scale cooperation project.
