Producer Center Living Lab
In this nationwide project, we aim to strengthen producers’ professional networks and enhance their digital competencies.
Collegial support and continuing professional development
The Producer Center Living Lab project will, between 2024 and 2026, establish a nationwide producer network alongside a corresponding operational and organizational model. The project advances the development of the arts and culture sector’s producer network by supporting professional collaboration among producers and intermediaries, fostering regional cooperation, and promoting the continuous development of professional expertise.
Humak’s specific role within the project is to reinforce producers’ digital competence. Humak has previously implemented numerous projects centered on digitalization and digital production. In this project, the focus is on developing producers’ digital skills while integrating perspectives of sustainable development.
Activities in Central Finland
The project seeks to strengthen the operational conditions of the arts and culture sector on a national scale, with particular attention to regional differences. Additionally, it aims to improve the accessibility of producer services and support the employment of professionals in the field, especially freelancers. Indirectly, the project also contributes to enhancing the quality and societal impact of cultural productions. In Central Finland, the following operational models are applied:
– producer network meetings
– digital pilot experiments
– training related to digital competence
– collaborative working days
