TREENI – Joint training for working life

TREENI project strengthens young people’s employment opportunities and helps them find their place in diverse working life.

Working life needs young people and young people need working life

Finland needs measures to address youth unemployment, which is above the EU average – working life needs young people and young people need working life. Through the development activities of the TREENI project, we strengthen young people’s employment opportunities and help them find their place in working life. We coach young people in job searching and workplace skills, as well as work communities in encountering young people, recruitment, and onboarding. We also want to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion in workplaces, working life, and society more broadly.

Humak’s responsibilities and actions:

1. Inspiring young people and participation in societal influence: Young people are inspired to engage with the project’s themes, for example through social media influencer campaigns. In addition, the project’s themes are communicated to young people, workplaces, and decision-makers in the form of various materials and utilizing different communication channels.

2. Coaching of young people and workplaces. Young people are encountered and coached for working life. Young people are introduced to the rules of the game in working life, the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of different parties. Courage is built and skills are increased for job searching and commitment to working.

3. Participation in developing the work community coaching model. Support is provided to the project’s work community coach operating in the field, and participation in developing the work community coaching model. Participation in coaching and training key actors and partners.
