457 Applications from almost 60 Countries to Bachelor of Adventure and Outdoor Education Degree Programme
The application period for Humak’s Bachelor’s Degree Programme (Community Educator, Adventure and Outdoor Education) ended today, January 22, 2025. We received a total of 457 applications from nearly 60 countries worldwide. Roughly 80 percent of the applications came from countries outside of Europe. The growth in applications when compared to 2024 was almost 3% (2.93 %).
The exact number of applications is subject to change due to a significant change in the application process. For the first time, a mandatory application fee has been introduced, and payments for applications submitted on the last day of application (Jan 22nd) will be processed over the coming week. As a result, the final number of applicants won’t be confirmed until late February once all applications have been reviewed and applicants required to pay the fee have either completed the payment or had their applications deactivated due to non-payment.
“Despite this, we can see that the degree programme remains highly popular, which is very encouraging”, states Inka Rajamaa from Humak’s admissions office. “It also appears that applications have been received from more countries than before.”

Another Opportunity for Community Educator Program: Apply with SAT Results. Starting tomorrow!
Did you miss the first opportunity to apply for the programme? Don’t panic! Although there are total of 24 starting places available in the programme through joint application process, there are and additional reserved 8 starting places for candidates applying for the programme with SAT results.
The application period runs from January 23, 2025, to April 17, 2025. Please note that the application period may close earlier if all study places are filled.
This process allows applicants to apply using SAT results as a basis for eligibility, further expanding opportunities for international students to apply to this unique degree programme.
