Lev i vårt språk 3 – utbildning i finlandssvenskt teckenspråk
Livs3 is a part of our continuing projects “Live in Our Language”, that aim to support revitalisation of Finland-Swedish Sign Language. During Livs3 we conduct a 10 ECTS education for FinSSL, where students develop their language skills, but also broader knowledge of the community, status and revitalisation of FinSSL. The project education takes one year, from February 2022 to February 2023. The project is financed by Ministry of Education and Culture.
Objectives
The project aims to be a part of revitalising FinSSL through education. By taking part in the education programme people gain skills to actively support the language by using it. Our aim is to increase the number of FinSSL users, but also support native speakers in their linguistic expertise.
