Humak University of Applied Sciences and The Rehabilitation Foundation have launched Multitalents – Social affairs and health NGOs as future makers -project. The project is funded by The European Social Fund (ESR+) for 2023-2025.

In the Multitalents-project, the goal is to strengthen the competence and vitality of the social affairs and health NGOs as part of the new wellbeing services counties in the project area, Kanta-Häme and Uusimaa.

The start of the wellbeing services counties brings new possibilities and challenges NGOs to strengthen their role as civic actors as well as service enablers.

In the changing circumstances the organization’s employees and volunteers are required to have versatile competence and skills, which are related to e.g. for the development of one’s own activities, foresight, evaluation, management, strategy work and influence. Similarly, e.g. the themes of equality, diversity and a more sustainable future may be of interest to NGOs reformers.

The project aims to be one of the actors in supporting organizations in successfully responding to the competence and learning challenge. The project will offer free of charge peer and joint development processes and trainings for the NGOs to develop their own activities. The needs and the situation of the project area and NGO´s will be considered.

In addition to the ESR+ funding, STEA has granted a grant to the Rehabilitation Foundation for the self-financing part of the project.

The team of Multitalent-project consists of five part-time staff. You can find us on the website (Yhteystiedot).
