Seikkaillen hyvinvointia ja osallisuutta kouluihin

The aim of the project is to develop the skills of basic education teachers to support children and young people by promoting inclusion, community, and well-being. The training includes methods from adventure and outdoor education, as well as experiential learning and outdoor activity-based learning.

Participants in the projects will be trained to use the methods in outdoor settings, such as schoolyards and nearby park areas. The training is curriculum-based.

The training consists of three modules that can be taken separately or as a whole. By completing all the modules, participants will build up a wide range of professional skills for their own work. The project’s training modules are divided into webinars, training in the Finnish Youth Centres and an online course.
