Get Lost Adventures Won the Best Youth Entrepreneurship Business Award
Get Lost Adventures is a tour company based in Helsinki and Ylläs. It offers bikepacking workshops, skin-based skiing adventures, and outdoor climbing experiences.
Get Lost Adventures goal is to get people moving and to find the beauty of their surroundings. To re-connect with nature and gain confidence in themselves through learning new skills. Sustainability is one of their core values, and they aim to teach people ways to move around and travel using their own natural energy. Especially in these times when travelling is restricted, people have the need to seek new experiences and adventures.

What makes Get Lost Adventures different is that they don’t just focus on one time experiences. The idea is to create an educational starting point. Their idea is to promote the agency of their customers to plan their own future trips and create their own personal meaningful experiences. Catch Me Outside Offers New Ways to Enjoy Outdoor Activities
Humak’s Catch Me Outside won the signature award in Uskalla Yrittää awards gala. Catch Me Outside offers a new kind of nature experience in the metropolitan area in a safe, customizable and refreshing way. Catch Me Outside plans and organizes exciting events, such as outdoor birthdays for children, goal-oriented team days for various companies and groups, as well as relaxing and inspiring nature trips.
Catch Me Outside is a Youth Entrepreneurship project that offers opportunities to enjoy the outdoors in a whole new way during the summer of 2021. As the world changes, we increasingly need safe ways to spend time with family, friends, and co-workers. Outdoors and in nature, we can celebrate, experience new experiences and meet people in a fun, educational and safe way.
Based on this idea, Catch Me Outside has innovated user-friendly nature events for a variety of purposes, either as ready-made packages or as individual events. Event concepts include children’s birthdays, nature experiences and team events.

As a part of their 2nd year studies of the degree programme in Adventure and Outdoor Education the students learn entrepreneurship and develop their working life skills through a practice-oriented coaching program. As a part of the entrepreneurship studies students also have a chance to participate in the the JA Company Program.
The whole degree programme is based on experiential and activity-based learning methods. It provides students with a wide range of skills at supporting the growth, development, well-being and agency of individuals, groups and communities. After graduation students have multiple employment opportunities within national and international working environments. Community educators with adventure educational orientation can be employed e.g. in the field of youth work, organizational work, education and training, well-being services, or nature- and adventure-based entrepreneurship.
